About

At B'Above Fort Hamilton Preschool we are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment that addresses the needs of the entire school community. At our school we provide opportunities for family engagement and involvement in the children's learning process and development. Our highly qualified teachers at our school speak a variety of languages and bring a wide array of skills and educational experiences. At our school children learn through authentic experiences through art, play and discovery as fostered by the Creative Curriculum. Teachers also put a great amount of focus on teaching emergent writing and literacy skills as well as teaching important math, science, and social studies concepts. Our school is welcoming and provides a warm and caring environment for all the staff, parents, and children. Children who live in NYC are eligible to begin 3-K during the fall of the calendar year they turn 3. There are different types of seats available in 3-K programs; some programs may offer more than one seat type, and you can list them separately on your application. For more information, please click on the options listed below or visit nyc.gov/3K. Each early childhood setting offers key health supports. NYCEECs are required to have staff trained in basic first aid, CPR, Epi-Pen administration, and Medication Administration Training if an enrolled student requires medication during the school day. Please contact EarlyChildhoodHealth@schools.nyc.gov with any questions about health supports available for your child's medical needs.[1]
