Middle School 322

Middle School 322, also known as Salomé Ureña Leadership Academy (SULA), serves grades 6-8 in Washington Heights. The school is recognized for its strong community collaboration and has been named in the Top 10 shortlist for the World's Best School Prize for Community Collaboration, a historic achievement for a New York City public school. It functions as a vital neighborhood hub, offering comprehensive support services that extend beyond academics to meet the holistic needs of students and their families, particularly immigrant families. The school provides a STEM focus with opportunities in robotics, coding, and Microsoft Office certification, and offers Regents classes in Algebra, Living Environment, and US History. Graduates have gone on to attend notable high schools such as Bard Early College HS and Beacon HS.
